H.E Mustafa Osman Turan, Ambassador of Türkiye in Bangladesh,

visited YY Ventures and Impact Hub Dhaka on October 18, 2022, to learn how YY Ventures supports Social Businesses, and connect with a few social entrepreneurs from the YY Goshthi and Impact Hub networks.

As H.E Mustafa Osman Turan engaged with our staff team and entrepreneurs attending the event, he shared that he has always considered himself a social entrepreneur, and that his passion lies in hosting meaningful conversations in inspiring places. Ambassador Mustafa said that his interest in social entrepreneurship had inspired him to learn about YY Ventures and Impact Hub Dhaka after visiting quite a few Impact Hubs located across the world himself.

He shared his own experiences of supporting entrepreneurs while engaging in a rich discussion with notable alumni of our YY Goshthi Incubation program, and entrepreneurs supported by Impact Hub Dhaka in various capacities as they shared about their own experiences of working in diverse sectors such as sports, tourism, on-demand delivery services, WASH, healthcare, urban plantation, and fashion.

We are grateful to Ambassador Mustafa for spending time with us and appreciating our efforts to advance the growth of Social Businesses by leveraging young people’s talents and ideas in Bangladesh and beyond. This conversation reinforced our belief that its crucial to stay connected with each other so we can leverage our relationships and resources to collectively create a world of three zeros in our own ways.
