This was followed by a discussion with the entrepreneurs in the room, as well as, representatives from our partners BYLC Ventures and SAJIDA Foundation, who shared about their experiences, the milestones they have reached, and the challenges that they have faced along the way. This opened the space for the committee members to ask questions to learn about our context, and gain further insights into the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Bangladesh.
The discussion and conversations highlighted the importance of collaborations and partnerships between entrepreneurship support organizations and the public and private sectors to create a more conductive environment for entrepreneurship in Bangladesh. H.E Anne van Leeuwen added, “We need to collectively put efforts to ensure that every early age business entity gets the validation and support required to grow it, which includes the collaborative efforts of public, private relationship in the business to make it expand. I think YY Ventures has been successfully doing this over the years. Their work is very inspiring, and I wish everyone the best for what they all are doing.”
We thank all the entrepreneurs, and representatives from our partner organizations, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Bangladesh, and the Standing Committee of the Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation of the House of Representatives of the Netherlands for spending time with us and sharing our vision of creating a world of three zeros.
