14 Enterprises graduate from the YY Goshthi 2022 Cohort

Powered by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), the YY Goshthi Incubation Program aims to

support young social entrepreneurs communities by creating Social Businesses. The participants undergo a series of boot camps, workshops, and trainings focused on building stronger social businesses.

This year, 14 promising enterprises have successfully graduated from the 2022 Cohort of the YY Goshthi Incubation Program: BANOJIBI, Toylapreneur, Project Delivery Appa, KHELO DHAKA, Insectech, FILTER, শুচিতা (Shuchita), KONNA Wellbeing Ltd., Urban Gaz Limited, Chondo, Cancer Awareness Foundation of Bangladesh, Bobthetinyturtle, Dhalad, Mindspace.

To celebrate the graduation of these 14 enterprises from our program, YY Ventures hosted a dinner reception on February 8, 2023 at the Grameen Telecom Bhaban. The reception started off with opening remarks from Shazeeb M Khairul Islam, Founder & Managing Director, YY Ventures, followed by remarks from Andre Van Ommeren, Member of the Board, International programmes at the Netherlands Enterprise Agency. 2006 Nobel Peace Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus also shared words of encouragement for the rising entrepreneurs, and presented certificates of achievement alongside Andre Van Ommeren to the graduates during the award ceremony. The ceremony concluded with the graduates having the opportunity to network with guests, and exchange ideas, experiences, and invaluable insights.

Toylapreneur:

Toylapreneur is a Bangladesh-based social enterprise dedicated to tackling Bangladesh's public toilet crisis by designing low-cost mobile toilets for city crowds. Click here

Project Delivery Appa:

Project Delivery Appa is a women-led initiative started by Green Ink with the goal of empowering and uplifting underrepresented communities of women and transgender people. Click here

KHELO DHAKA:

KHELO is the first sustainable athleisure making an effort towards eco-conscious and ethical fashion by utilizing locally available resources in Bangladesh. Click here

Banojibi:

Banojibi has Bangladesh Environment and Development Society (BEDS) as its foundational organization of which promotes the brand for better livelihoods for coastal communities in the Sundarbans and protecting the system's prestigious mangrove ecosystems. Click here

Insectech:

Insectech focuses on contributing to the community by recycling organic wastes to produce toxin-free food and livestock feed as well as clean water and a self-sustaining circular economy for farmers' agricultural businesses. Click here



FILTER:

FILTER is a technologically supported door-to-door waste management system that separates inorganic waste at the root level and recycles it into reusable products in an effort to lower waste production. Click here


Shuchita-শুচিতা :

Shuchita uses a community-based production system to create reusable menstrual hygiene products that are 75% biodegradable. Click here

Konna:

Konna is a platform that has developed an integrated healthcare system that provides insurance for factory workers, telehealth, at-home diagnostics, mental health, and nutrition counselling, among other services. Click here

Urban Gaz Limited:

Urban Gas Limited introduces strategic cloud distribution centres to ensure on-time delivery and increase the effectiveness and affordability of LP gas distribution. Click here

Chondo:

Chondo is an individualized health and wellbeing app that can track menstrual and pregnancy cycles, offers expert advice to ensure the best hygiene & healthcare practices, and delivers the best eco-friendly hygiene products to people’s doorstep. Click here

Cancer Awareness Foundation of Bangladesh:

Cancer Awareness Foundation, Bangladesh establishes specialized care facilities, regular access to check-ups, and raises public awareness about the early diagnosis and prevention of cancer. Click here

Bob The Tiny Turtle:

Bob The Tiny Turtle creates fun, environment and health-friendly toys with the assistance of regional producers and sells them in physical and online stores. Click here
